How does a car’s value change when a new model comes out?
I want to get a car from ‘81 and a new model of it is coming out around ‘08-’09. Will this increase or decrease the price of the ‘81 model?
To be specific I’m thinking of getting an old ‘81 or ‘82 Delorean DMC-12. A new model of this is supposed to come out soon. When this new car comes out will the old model’s price drop or go up due to it being an antique.
Also, if anyone knows any website that has Deloreans listed cheap please let me know. I’m looking for one I can fix up that’s around $10000.
first off, you will have a very hard time finding any DeLorean for $10k. They are going much higher than that.
Second, it is a collector car. The release of a new model will not affect the price. Just like the release of the new Dodge Challenger will not affect the price of the 70-74 Challengers – they will be collector cars no matter what happens
